@spencerpratt@drawandstrike Thank you, Spencer. You are a bright shining light in the world and I know that God will take care of you and take care of us.
In June 2020, amid the George Floyd protests, Quaker/PepsiCo ditched the Aunt Jemima branding, calling it a racist โMammyโ stereotype.
Nancy Green, a former slave turned superstar pitchwoman, turned pancake mix into an icon. Black women built the brand and profited. Consumer studies showed preference dropped after the change. Virtue signaling erased history instead of celebrating it. Sales dipped. Nostalgia was lost.
Do you think this change was justified and/or should they bring back the original Aunt Jemima packaging?
Itโs a lovely idea to have patriots in the park. I donโt think the language of invasion itโs appropriate Iโm a huge fan of Disney and did my dissertation on Disneyland, Mary Poppins, and the movie Chicago so I love your idea just maybe tone it down Rudolph ( in honor of Rudolph, the rednosed reindeer, which came out the same year as Mary Poppins)
