"Gall credited NYU journalism professor Jay Rosen for sparking the idea." Yes, our @Studio20NYU motto was "paid in problems" and I'll never forget @jayrosen_nyu saying "the simplest way to add value in journalism is to save the user time." Hope Media Guide-o-Matic hits that mark.

4/5 “I hope newsrooms and other orgs enable this free tool. As @picardonhealth wrote in the @mindset_guide, journalists should be as willing to write about depression as breast cancer. This plugin will help them do so with confidence.”—@KarissaNGall, product, Media Guide-o-Matic
3/3 Even though Peggy lost so much as a child, she said she "wants to be the voice of children in care. People who are silent, like I was silent. I want to be that voice for children in care." Please listen to Peggy's story, available on @ApplePodcasts. 🧡 https://t.co/IIoga91IJ6
1/3 In summer 2017, my @C4CCanada partner and I were facilitating conversations between consenting passengers on @VIA_Rail. Since last week's discovery of a mass grave site at a former residential school in B.C., I've been thinking about one of those conversations in particular.
2/3 This conversation was between a residential school survivor named Peggy and a tourist named Pete, who who were otherwise strangers. Around 5:45 minutes in, Peggy remembers that "Some of the children died because there was terrible stuff done to them." #EveryChildMatters
