Oesophagectomy post-neoadjuvant chemotherapy. This is the tumour bed - no residual tumour, just lots of muciphages and foreign body giant cells.
Has anybody seen something like this? Reminds me of Gamna-Gandy bodies, i.e. mixture of iron and dystrophic calcification.

Almost a "Mercedes-Benz" sign - Branching capillaries floating in a pool of colorful mucin from the very RARE, "Mucoepidermoid Carcinoma" of the breast. Cytopathology is truly FASCINATING. I guess we all agree!
