This afternoon, Head of the Prime Minister’s Delivery Unit, @KasuleSebunya, returned to the Industrial Area to assess progress on the ongoing road reconstruction works.
Due to soft ground conditions, the Government is upgrading 6th and 7th Streets from tarmac to concrete to ensure durability and better infrastructure.
6th Street is now complete and open to the public, while works on 7th Street, as well as 5th and 8th Streets, are progressing steadily.

In his speech delivered by the Prime Minister @R_Nabbanja at the #APSD2025 in Kololo, the President @KagutaMuseveni has urged the Public Service sector to support the pro-people agenda of the NRM,that is, ensuring free education of the children in the government schools; no stealing of drugs in the government health facilities; and correct implementation of the wealth funds aimed to lift all Ugandan households from poverty.
The President called upon public servants to desist from all forms of corruption, noting that corruption slows down Uganda’s development. He mentioned that corruption will not be tolerated by the patriots, who fought for the liberation of Uganda and Africa.
@KagutaMuseveni highlighted that all the government efforts should be aligned towards maintaining peace and stability, continuous modernisation of the infrastructure in order to attract more investments, and elimination of the subsistence modes of production.
The President also noted that Uganda is ripe for investments and has a favourable investment climate evidenced by the existing peace, security, and stability as well as the physical infrastructure to enable business operations to take place. He added that the market is also available.
Patriots kindly converge on Kyadondo Road today and shower Papa President @KagutaMuseveni and Mama @JanetMuseveni with love as they pick up @NRMOnline nomination forms for presidency and National
