Jednou z velmi pozitivních předností naší země je síla a kvalita občanské společnosti, která se dokáže ve správnou chvíli jasně a srozumitelně postavit za správnou věc.

Velmi si vážím všech, kteří nezůstávají lhostejní k tomu, co se kolem nich děje, a cítí svůj díl odpovědnosti za stav naší země. Vážím si všech, kteří jsou připraveni přidat svůj hlas k obraně slušnosti, pravdy, solidarity a respektu jednoho k druhému.

Obrana těchto hodnot není naivitou ani překonanou „havlovskou iluzí“. Je životaschopnou alternativou k bezhodnotovému pragmatismu, který věří, že síla je víc než právo, arogance víc než slušnost a že svobodu slova lze nahradit svobodou lhát, překrucovat a urážet.

I informed @prezidentpavel about the situation on the frontline and about our recovery needs. Every day, Ukrainians have to restore essential services after Russian attacks. And each of these strikes against our energy sector and our cities quite clearly shows Russia’s real interests and intentions: they are not interested in agreements, but in the further destruction of Ukraine. And it is precisely because of this that diplomacy is stalling. And that is why now, as before, we all need to remain focused on cooperation, to stand together politically – all of us in Europe, and all of us in Europe together with America.
