Note: The ship names are placeholder names. Eventually, all Houses will have their own ship name lists and each ship will have a unique name. Ships are valuable and relatively resource-costful, so losing a larger battleship or dreadnaught is very costly, as are command ships.
Another day, another military system post! Wanted to show some prep that the player can take - top pic is the overall strategic situation - we're at New Terra, and we want to strike House Iogarajah-Bas's capital system (the one to the southeast of New Terra). First, we need to build some more ships, so I put 4 new ships into the shipyard at New Terra's queue. Next, I create my strike fleet, and include some missile ships, some combat ships, and my command cruiser with an Admiral on board. Finally, I give the attack order on Attika, as it is lightly defended with a small system defense cannon network. What will happen?? Tune in later!
Hey everyone! It's been a while but we're hard at work on the game! Wanted to show a few shots of a military operation - first pic is the fleet taking out a neighboring system's system defense cannons to prepare for the attack run (think of it as a SEAD mission in space), second pic is the fleet bombarding the system capital of Neumon (and being attacked by the system defense fleet) and the final pic is the results of the attack - 1 region was damaged, and 1 sector destroyed. Not a good return for the loss of a command cruiser and 3 missile ships.
