My wife and I are currently looking at houses in Florida. I certainly didn’t want to move into the ‘hood, so I’ve been looking at more suburban and rural areas. The only skepticism I’ve gotten from potential neighbors has been “you ain’t bringing New York politics down here, are you?” After that, they’ve been cool. One, after talking to me, even said “you can be my neighbor any time!”
