Really important study showing that reducing psychiatric drug use in people with dementia reduced psychiatric symptoms such as hallucinations, apathy, depression and reduced falls. I hope the people on this platform advocating for increased use of psychotropics in this population despite evidence read it carefully. Link below.

Agree, and this is why rising rates of antidepressant use among young women is so worrying. Many will have been on antidepressants for 10 years or more when they get pregnant and getting off them after this amount of time is frequently difficult
