It’s tricky because FV keep reminding me they will only look at another report if it is from a “ nationally recognised” leather specialist. I realise they are saying this to put us off getting another report.
We have spoken to a company who seem genuine,

Following on from all our problems I wish to notify you that I want a refund of Castelan insurance. We were told it covered just about everything when in fact it only covers Accidental damage and that has to be specific to their approval
Complete waste of money

I spoke to another reputable company who assured me Castelan are independent but have to be paid by someone. ????
I hate them
Always buy insurance but after being told they cover everything, they only cover SPECIFIC accidents and have that cover .on our house insurance,

Even Ombudsman said he had to side with FV as they had 2 Castelan reports. Exterior Contamination is a great get out clause for them.
