@MelisandeMarie About the postdoc experience helping me to get the job. Certainly, but because I went to a position that required more experience. There are plenty of roles in the industry for PhDs with less experience.
@MelisandeMarie At the time I wasnโt sure ๐ฏ about going to the industry. The postdoc made sense, and was a great experience. If money is the concern, moving to industry is the right answer. The good news is that a postdoc is not a must for an industry job. (1)
