@Pinkyuwuuu Honestly there’s no good way to get let go. I hope he calls you later but having to wait for the highly suspicious meeting, process and respond in real time isn’t fun either.
Fascinating. I wonder if there’s a connection between typography skills and reading speed, since we’re so familiar with the letter forms. I had to focus but could understand all the content at 900 words per minute.
@selentelechia@_lizharvey Same, we only do the audio so I’ve wondered if the TV show is different? But the main thing my son has learned is that a tomato is technically a fruit and was only reclassified due to NY tax law 😂
I have flown dozens of times with babies on various airlines, and I have NEVER been charged to check a playpen until today. @JetBlue this is not a family friendly policy! For the record, it was also the only baby item, we did not check anything else for him.
The land of the free has a branding problem: "The USA feels like a team wearing the same jersey but playing entirely different sports. Each side is after different goals while accusing the other of betrayal." https://t.co/ZOmBToJZ2g
@BirdGuySky@ramit I always asked my landlord to replace my lightbulbs when I was renting! Never had anyone refuse or even question it (4 different landlords in 2 states)
Someone once pointed me to the montessori definition of 'work' and I feel like that's become my default understanding of the word.
'Work' isn't just paid work, but purposeful activity to develop your personality and potential.
@OctoAbbi Two kids, two hospitals, one pediatrician, never had anyone bat an eye about delaying the Hep B. I will say that in 2024 they definitely knew where the form for skipping it was and in 2020 they had to dig it up but that could have also been general COVID chaos.
@nm_webb One set of grandparents cooks for a small army, the other cooks barely enough for 2 people once a day and someone gets food poisoning every visit 😅
@feral__mama That was my first, and I signed up to do it again but the second baby was much faster 😅 Both completely unmedicated home births. I think the important thing is that moms are supported making the best choices for them, taking into account their preferences and health.
@PTBwrites Here’s the thing though, walking outside is really good for pregnant women. The GW midwives encourage 3 miles or 90 minutes of outdoor exercise every day. It’s after delivery that moms really need the rest and to not lug baby so far! So I would advocate for it being for infants
