Delegate and prioritize. People will try to pile every little thing on you, and you loooove owning it all. But that's not your job. Make time for the important things, and say no to things that are not your job if it's preventing you from getting things done. /5
For any human behaviour (b) we need sufficient motivation (m) and ability (a) and a trigger (t) @nireyal@LTPCON#ltpcon - as product manager we need to make sure there is sufficient motivation, that the action is not too hard and that a trigger exists #prodmgmt
Just finished listening to Escaping the Build Trap with my team at #hipages . If you’re in #product , do yourself a favour and do the same now. Amazing stuff! https://t.co/inFFdSYcdT
@jasonlittle That metaphor is past its due date. Saying that the ‘burning platform’ is the motivator for change removes from people all their control over the situation. They’re victims fighting for their lives, rather than actors making good choices and driving change.
One thing years of product management taught me was the framework of ruthless prioritization. You are most effective when you’re focused and strategic, not reactive and frazzled. Boiling the ocean means you are mediocre in everything. Find your hi-pri strike zone.
The fact is, #AustraliaDay was not always celebrated on this date that is so offensive and hurtful to First Nations communities. It has been marked in July and August and could easily be changed to a day where everybody can celebrate the country we live in. #invasionday
@GeorgeResch@KristajSharpe Oh of course. It would totally happen to men too. Except men can’t really be ‘f’d in the p*ssy’, can they? #dropthebut I’m sorry this happened to you @KristajSharpe definitely not funny!
We've taken the last 6+ years of learning from workshops, coaching ,and consulting in over 12 countries, countless organizations and thousands of people to create 5 Universals of Change. https://t.co/oJ8t4kykLI #leanchange
