WANT TO KNOW THE PATH TO ASCENSION?
The ultimate path to ascension is not escape. It is the willingness to stop arguing with what already happened, and to let it finish its work in you.
Accept everything in your life and choose to heal from it. Your parents, your traumas, your misfortunes did not arrive as random punishments or as proof that the world is against you. They arrived as the precise conditions through which your soul could remember itself.
What you refuse to face does not disappear. It stays in the body as tension, in the mind as blame, and in the life as repetition. Avoidance feels like protection. It is only the postponement of your own evolution.
Ascension is not rising above your story. It is the moment the story is no longer an enemy. Blame keeps the wound alive because blame still needs a villain outside you. Acceptance does not mean the harm was fine or that boundaries were unnecessary, or that you must return to what broke you. It means you stop using the past as a reason to abandon yourself.
Healing begins when you can hold the fact of what happened without needing it to have been different in order for you to be free. What was once “done to me” becomes the raw substance of consciousness learning how to stay present inside pain without becoming pain.
The misfortunes were not here to ruin you. They were here so that something in you, older than the personality, could finally stop outsourcing its peace.
You ascend not by leaving the life but by letting the life complete its initiation in you until even the hardest chapter is recognized as having been for you, not against you.
You are not a finished product.
Your brain physically reshapes itself around whatever you do most.
Neuroscientists call it neuroplasticity, and once you understand how it works, you realize your identity is largely a habit.
A thread:
@NolanAnalyst Neither Cruise nor Damon are deserving of an Oscar win here. There will be 3 other nominees and one of them will win, most likely John Malkovich, and it will be well deserved. You’re blowing too much smoke up Damon’s ass. He wasn’t THAT good.
@TheAwardsGarage Morton is better than Hathaway in this movie, imo. This seems to just be a case of the internet getting behind the more “popular” actress and calling the race for her. Same way they kept saying Cruise would be a shoe in.
@CinemaTweets1 Honestly, Samantha Morton in the same movie was much better. Hathaway’s performance isn’t on the same level of RDJ or Ledger. It’s not even on the same level as Emily Blunt who was nominated for supporting actress for Oppenheimer. Hathaway was ok, but nothing special imo.
@MildManneredMix@kittyatdawn He’s acting in series and movies…..and in this case, promoting said series - an hbo max show called Youth. So yeah, he’s “done something lately.”
