🎉Congratulations to Mr. Dohoon Kim, Ag. Country Director of the Korea Foundation for International Healthcare (KOFIH) Uganda Office, on receiving a Commendation from the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Korea 🇰🇷 for his outstanding contributions to international development cooperation.
Under his leadership, the KOFIH Uganda Office secured its first-ever official registration and legal status in Uganda, expanded collaboration with the Ministry of Health, the Office of the Prime Minister and Local District Governments of Uganda and laid a strong institutional foundation in-country. His efforts also led to the first Team Korea ODA cooperation model, policy-oriented capacity building for decision-makers, and tangible health system strengthening—significantly elevating the KOFIH brand in Uganda🇺🇬.
💬 In his remarks, Mr. Kim emphasized that this achievement belongs to the people of Uganda, partners at the Ministry of Health and local governments, and colleagues across the Uganda Office and KOFIH HQ—“a collective result built through shared commitment and teamwork.”
KOFIH remains committed to delivering impact-driven, locally tailored partnerships, to achieve sustainable results in global health cooperation for the people we serve.💪🏿
