Today marks 7 years since I lost my dad. If there’s one thing I learned these past 7 years is, i dealt with grief differently every year. First few years were the toughest. It felt like my life was put on pause but the world just kept on going without me.

Never once I questioned “why did this happen” or “how can you let this happen”. Sure I was lost at times, but I made way back to him through prayer. Because of that, this year was the happiest I’ve been in a long time accepting all things considered.
