My largest bet of the tournament.

Texas and Alabama meet in the losers' bracket as both teams dropped their opening game.

Texas lost to Georgia 7-1, and Alabama lost 9-0 to Oklahoma.

However, all losses are not created equal, and there is ample reason to believe the Longhorns will avenge their loss and take out their anger on this Alabama team.

We bet on Oklahoma in Game 1 with confidence, and it was never close to a sweat. Oklahoma had runners on every inning, while Alabama got no-hit for the first half of the game.

After the game, Justin LeBron said he didn't even know the pitcher for Oklahoma's name.

It was as bad a performance as you could possibly manage, and this is on the heels of making it to Omaha with the easiest path of any team.

I knew as soon as the CWS started, I knew I would be fading Alabama. We did it once successfully; let's do it again.

The difference between these two squads is night and day. Overall, nothing Alabama does is on the same level as Texas.

Texas has the batting average edge by 40 points. OPS edges by over 100 points. They have a 110 wRC+, compared to Alabama's 98. Texas hits a lot more home runs. Texas has stolen 11 more bases.

Offensively, there is not a single edge in favor of Alabama.

We all saw Texas break down defensively yesterday (Carson Tinney), but they are still firmly the better team on defense.

Alabama ranked 15th out of 16 SEC teams in fielding percentage and, overall in D1, is tied for 241st.

On the mound, there is also zero debate on which arm you'd rather have. Zane Adams does have a slightly better ERA (3.96 to 4.04), but by SIERA, it isn't close.

Riojas is rocking a 13.4 K/9, a 2.3 BB/9, and a 1.66 SIERA.

Adams is at 9.9 K/9, 2.7 BB/9, and a 3.17 SIERA.

In terms of the overall pitching staff, Texas has the best in college baseball at a 2.69 SIERA, while Alabama ranks 33rd at 3.72.

This exact matchup already happened this year. Zane Adams threw a six-inning shutout, and Alabama still lost 3-1.

Anything can happen, it's college baseball, but there is absolutely nothing pointing towards the Alabama side.

I have Texas winning this game 75% of the time (-300).

I haven't layed more than -120 this entire season, but this game is calling for it.

$2 TRILLION HAS BEEN WIPED OUT FROM US STOCK MARKET IN LAST 2 HOURS.

Two possible reasons for this selloff.

THE FIRST REASON IS SPACEX.

SpaceX lists on June 12 at a $1.77 trillion valuation, raising $75 billion, the largest IPO in US history.

SpaceX allocated 30% of shares to retail investors, three times the industry norm.

Even then, most retail investors still did not get full allocation. To buy more SpaceX at open on Thursday, they are selling their existing positions today to raise cash.

And SpaceX does not enter the Nasdaq 100 on day one. It enters 15 trading days after listing, putting forced buying around early July.

Nasdaq changed its rules specifically for this IPO, cutting the waiting period from three months to 15 days.

When that happens, every QQQ fund must automatically buy SpaceX, an estimated $22 to $27 billion in forced mechanical buying. To make room, every existing Nasdaq 100 stock gets trimmed.

MSCI has also adopted early inclusion rules, adding trillions more in tracked assets that will be forced to buy SpaceX after listing.

Both retail and institutions are raising cash at the same time, retail to participate in the listing, institutions to prepare for the forced index buying in July.

That combined selling is what you are seeing right now.

The second reason is insider positioning ahead of major news.

When institutions sell this aggressively across every asset class at the same time, it often signals they know something the market does not yet.
