Absolutely no one in the entire history of Arkansas has ever suggested replacing Arkansas law with Sharia law. But many of us would like a governor who doesn't peddle Islamophobic tropes to score political points.

First, they sent the FBI to seize ballots in GA. Then, they tried to get data on election workers in Fulton County.
Now, they’re threatening to imprison election officials.
This is escalating quickly. Every single American should be alarmed.
I get it. Losing is hard. But six years later and Trump is STILL talking about the election he lost? This is something to work through with a therapist. Leave the people of Georgia and the country out of it.
Thomas Massie on Trump’s speech to the nation tonight about election fraud:
“We control the House, Senate, White House, and Supreme Court, so I ask my Republican colleagues, why are you complaining about election fraud? We won all the elections!”
This is all a distraction from the fact that our elections actually are rigged, but not in the way Trump or even Democrats ever claim.
Our elections are rigged by corporations and billionaires who buy off and bribe both parties to tilt the economy in their favor, creating an unbalanced society that’s rigged for the rich.
Elections under capitalism are a sham, as they don’t produce democracy for the people. They only produce democracy for the rich.
Elections under capitalism are simply a mechanism of control for the ruling class to keep the masses divided and trapped in the very system that’s rigged against us.
He’s gonna address the nation tonight, and he’s not gonna talk about you. He’s not gonna talk about you & your struggles with unemployment, rising prices, and access to healthcare. He’s gonna talk about himself. He’s gonna talk about an election he lost six years ago.
Just one more reminder for November.
THE AMERICAN PEOPLE ARE CLEAR: NO MORE U.S. AID TO ISRAEL
Today, the U.S. House of Representatives will vote on an amendment introduced by Rep. Thomas Massie to cut the $3.3 billion in annual U.S. military aid to Israel. I strongly support this amendment.
Israel, like any other country, had the right to defend itself against the horrific terrorist attack by Hamas on October 7, 2023, which killed 1,200 innocent people. But it did not have the right to go to war against the entire Palestinian population. It did not have the right to kill more than 73,000 Palestinians and wound over 173,000 more — the vast majority of them women, children and the elderly. It did not have the right to destroy virtually the entire infrastructure of Gaza — the schools, the health facilities, the water systems, wastewater plants, the electric grid that a civilian population depends on to survive. It did not have the right to destroy or damage 92% of all housing units in Gaza. In other words, Israel did not have the right to commit genocide. And it did not have the right to escalate its violence and annexation of the West Bank while the world's attention was focused elsewhere.
Tragically, almost five months ago, Israel, with strong support from the Trump administration, launched a reckless and illegal war against Iran — a war that has killed thousands of people and left an already unstable region of the world even more unstable. That war expanded into Lebanon, where Israeli strikes have now killed more than 4,000 people and displaced some 20% of the entire Lebanese population. That is not "defending Israel". These are regional wars of expansion and terror, waged without a clear strategy, and without an end in sight.
The American people are catching on. Polls show that nearly three-quarters of Democratic voters now oppose sending military aid to Israel, as do more than one-third of Republican voters. Just 16% of all Americans support giving Israel unconditional aid.
And I am proud that this past April, 40 out of 47 Senate Democrats — a record number — supported my bill to block arms sales to the far-right, extremist Netanyahu government.
We have enormous unmet needs in our own country. Today, while 60% of our people are living paycheck to paycheck, tens of millions of Americans cannot afford housing, healthcare, childcare and other basic needs. Congress must focus on the needs of their constituents, not an Israeli government that is undermining American values. I urge my colleagues in the House to vote yes on the Massie amendment.
This is an instantly impeachable offense. The president abused his office to procure a fraudulent financial settlement. Without precedent in its brazenness and corruption.
Last year some regrettable cost cutting decisions were made about foodborne pathogen testing, ending 28 years of screening for cyclosporiasis and quickly catching and quenching several outbreaks. Now we still have no idea what the source of this outbreak is. This is the price!!!
It doesn’t matter if the man killed by ICE in Maine was authorized to work in the United States or not. It doesn’t matter if he had a social security or not. ICE should not be killing anyone. Period.
Can we just… drop the facade of morality here for a minute and speak candidly?
Iran is RIGHT for striking vessels in the Strait of Hormuz. I said it, I don’t care if you like it. You’re lying to yourself if you want to act like it’s wrong.
The United States launched a war of aggression against a sovereign country, and this is an obvious and long-identified defense maneuver meant to create asymmetric downside against an overwhelmingly more powerful military adversary.
“Ohhhh but it’s wronggg. What about international lawwwww”
Last I checked, slaughtering 120 schoolchildren in Minab is against international law. Last I checked, launching a war of aggression against a sovereign nation like we see here is against international law. Last I checked, bombing water storage and infrastructure facilities is against international law…
… last I checked, the United States killed three Indian sailors in the Strait of Hormuz by attacking a civilian vessel.
“Ohhhhh but maritime lawwww. UNCLOS”
Y’all check on Cuba lately? The last delivery of oil to Matanzas was the Anatoly Kolodkin in MARCH. The United States is the SOLE reason the Universal couldn’t deliver in May. They have blackouts for 22 hours a day. Their hospitals can’t function.
You can whine all you want about morals and ethics, but maybe take a second to realize how stupid you sound doing it.
Lindsey Graham got on national television and said “we’re killing the right kind of people” after 168 Iranian school girls were bombed. May my heart continue to stay despicably cruel, heartless and abusive to those who celebrate the deaths of children 🙏🏼
You better believe I have the resolve to follow this through. Senator Mitch McConnell is incapacitated. There is no other way to look at this, I don’t care if he’s in rehab, in a step down unit, or most likely still plugged into life-support and the ICU. But his inability to come to the Senate floor and vote and move appropriation bills forward, throws my military and federal government workforce followers into food bank lines. So you better believe that not only am I going to have the resolve to follow-through I am going to raise pure hell on the Hill next week if someone doesn’t get this man to resign or pull the plug. This is the last time they are going to put the military and federal workforce through this BS.
