Conversion therapy can legally still be practiced in KY on LGBTQ+ teens. The NASW supports policies that support social justice for all. Support HB 162 and SB 65 to end conversion therapy in KY. #WKUsocialworkpolicy

@HalieHemmerle This link is very informative. Social Security is essential for the aging population. My grandparents are 70, and I could not imagine them still having to work to survive.
@darby_potter4 I love this infographic. It catches your eye while having so much great information on it. It is important to remember the needs of the aging population.
@BloodyRed7 This is fantastic information on Alzheimer’s disease. I did not realize how common of a disease this is. I thought it was rare. Thank you for bringing awareness to this disease!
Social Security reforms could affect the aging population by not allowing them to draw benefits until 70. NASW supports preserving and strengthening social security to provide older adults economic security. SS reform doesn’t support social workers' beliefs.

@HalieHemmerle It is so important that health care plans cover mental health because it is equally as important. I love how you added mental health is health care too!
Social workers believe that treatment options should meet the needs of their clients, including telehealth services. The setting should provide the most therapeutic and least restrictive environment. All clients should feel comfortable during their sessions. #WKUsocialworkpolicy
@HalieHemmerle I agree; this is a massive issue in America. People are unable to save money or have a fear of getting their proper health care due to medical debt.
@Kenziebethboil5 Kenzie, this was a great article to explain the difference between equity and equality. It is so important for us to fight this as social workers!
Access to healthcare is a human right. The US does not have access to universal healthcare. All individuals should be able to have their healthcare needs met without fear of becoming into debt. 1 in 5 families struggles with medical debt and expenses. #WKUsocialworkpolicy
@kellytapp9@KYHarperAngel Hi Kelly, I was unaware that Kentucky still had the death penalty. Your infographic was filled with so much great information and resources! The layout of the infographic looks fantastic!
@CB70050440@JacksonStateRep This infographic was very neat, and the layout was appealing! House bill 82 would benefit students, many students do not have access to help them overcome learning barriers that dyslexia can cause.
@HalieHemmerle@KYHarperAngel Hi Halie, I love the colors and layout of your infographic. Period poverty is a huge social issue, and awareness of this topic needs to be shared! Great job!
