A 16-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a stabbing in Dagenham yesterday.

Officers found a 16-year-old boy with stab injuries.

He was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital.

His injuries were later confirmed as neither life-threatening nor life-changing

🇬🇧 This is Baroness Foster of Oxton in the Lords on 18 May 2026, during the King’s Speech debate.

She went back to a speech she made after 7 October 2023. Creating an absolute nightmare for woke social media platforms.

The Muslim Brotherhood and other Islamist groups, she said, have spread “like a cancer” for 40 years.

There were warnings. After 9/11 she was the European Parliament rapporteur on airport security. Then came 7/7, Glasgow Airport, Lee Rigby, Westminster, Manchester Arena, London Bridge, Reading.

After October 7 she described weekly protests: “from the river to the sea,” calls for jihad, Nazi placards, Hizb ut-Tahrir before it was banned, children dressed as Hamas next to Met officers.
She asked Gold Command what the threshold was to stop the marches.
She asked whether “Kill the Blacks” or “Kill all Muslims” would have been allowed a second week.

She said British Jewish families now live behind a ring of steel. The Prime Minister blamed the far right.

Foster’s line was that the people marching at Unite the Kingdom were not far right , they were ordinary people “tired of living with this Islamist threat hanging over us.” At the Nakba rally, she said, they were still calling for the annihilation of Jews and Israel.

She closed with Churchill: an appeaser feeds the crocodile hoping it eats him last. And: those speaking out will not stay silent.

That’s the speech social media is wrestling with.
