Introducing Asian Urban Madness,
So here's how it works,
64 Asian cities have been objectively ranked from 1 to 64 based on metro area size,
Every weekday I'll post a short blurb on each city as well as a tik tok showcasing the major sights and culture.
You guys vote.
If I do an Asian Cities March Madness tournament on twitter,
A match up of 64 Asian cities,
With a Tik Tok shown of each city’s major points and attractions,
Would you vote on it regularly?
If yes doesn’t clear by a substantial margin, I’m not doing it.
I agree with most of these characterizations expect George HW Bush,
Came from a industrial dynasty family + actually ran the CIA for a good few years.
He knew exactly what was going on,
The Bush family is as insider as it gets within the American oligarchy.
But as I said,
All of our presidents since Eisenhower, with the exception of Nixon, have just been some goofy silly guy who doesn’t know what’s actually going on, it really doesn’t matter.
Eisenhower: knew what was going on, knew he couldn’t really do anything about it
Kennedy: had some clue
@PAstynome This is true of every country globally at this point,
It’s plutocracy all the way through.
Just different countries have differing forms of what they define as the plutocracy.
@PAstynome Yeah American housing prices are extremely ridiculous,
The only equation that makes sense to me these days is American Passport, profit from America’s vast consumer economy, but live abroad.
Even if you can afford it, where’s the value?
@Molson_Hart For sure it is,
I usually assort this into the economic dynamism aspect of the country though,
Even though America has all these negatives, maybe due to them it really helps capitalism and consumerism.
I don’t think you can remove the negatives of American culture and keep the
It’s good to be away from Twitter at times. It makes you less angry and annoyed. From my quick glance of things, nothing has changed lol as @Kdenkss liked to always say.
@SimonSW13 It’s honestly a great thing for China that it doesn’t attract basic weebs that only learn the language because of some weird childish love for animes or whatever,
I hope that never happens.
@ruima Demanding school/work culture + country is way too centered on Seoul which drives up housing pressures in one metro area(China was genius for curbing the growth of Beijing/Shanghai)
@TheBryceEstate@AppleMusic@amywinehouse It’s a great album,
It had a big influence on all modern British songstresses,
However it’s an album heavily influenced by the great American soul albums of the 1960s and 1970s,
Placing it top 10 as a result is LOL.
@TheBryceEstate@AppleMusic@kendricklamar You and me agree then,
Take Care isn't a top 10 album just like GKMC isn't.
Good Kid, Mad City does not rank as a top 10 timeless work of art.
To rank this ahead of what's going on or MBDTF is a crime.
@TheBryceEstate Never.
It'll be a tool to integrate with top musicians,
but AI lacks that soul.
Check out Suno AI, it turns out mediocre tunes.
Good for a short Tik-Tok vid but that's it.
@MusingsofAwe He's not even being allowed to speak to Congress LMAO.
This was a pity state visit thrown because an African president hasn't gotten one in ages and Ruto was the only plausible candidate.
SAD.
@steve2Seattle Not even the Fugees would agree with you on this,
Thank god Wyclef broke Lauryn heart like a typical Haitian fuckboy,
It gave us this eternal gem of an album.
There’s a reason why aunties and uncles still pack concerts and wait hours on end being disrespected to see this woman sing,
This is a worthy choice. Arguably the best album of the past quarter century and better than anything released post 2005.
@TiskTusk No one is denying it wasn’t amazing,
But you can’t say this album is better than what’s going on or Songs in the key of life? At least I wouldn’t lmao.
