Zebec is powering Velo Protocol's branded card
@Veloprotocol has announced @Zebec_HQ as its exclusive infrastructure partner for the launch of a Velo-branded card experience.
The integration bridges Velo’s PayFi settlement layer with the Zebec Card network, enabling users to convert on-chain assets into real-world purchasing power across global merchant terminals.
The rollout supports native funding via $USDT and $USDC across @BNBCHAIN, @Ethereum, and @TRONDAO.
The dual-tier Silver and Carbon cards allow for multi-currency balances in $USD, $EUR, and $GBP, with full integration for Apple Pay and Google Pay.
🧵 Velo expands its PayFi ecosystem with another real-world payment integration.
The latest partnership with
@Zebec_HQ Network isn’t an isolated announcement.
It fits into a broader strategy that @veloprotocol has been executing over the past months. 👇
Velo has selected Zebec Network as its exclusive card partner to launch the Velo Card.
The objective is straightforward:
Bridge digital assets with everyday payments through familiar payment rails.
According to the announcement, the Velo Card will support:
• Apple Pay & Google Pay
• USD, EUR & GBP balances
• USDT & USDC funding
• Ethereum, BNB Chain & Tron
• Top-ups using $VELO
This expands the ways users can access and spend digital assets in daily life.
The partnership also aligns with Velo’s recently published PayFi roadmap.
That roadmap includes:
• Orbit Plus Wallet
• White-label payment applications
• Merchant solutions
• Virtual payment cards
• Cross-border settlement
• Stablecoin infrastructure
The Zebec integration represents another step in delivering those capabilities.
Looking beyond this single announcement, a broader pattern is emerging.
Over the past year Velo has continued expanding its ecosystem through:
• Lightnet’s payment infrastructure
• Cross-border settlement
• USDV
• BlackRock’s BUIDL integration via Securitize
• Merchant payment solutions
• Wallet infrastructure
• Payment cards
Each announcement addresses a different layer of the payment stack.
An interesting detail is the initial support for USDT and USDC.
Liquidity remains essential for global payments, while the regulatory landscape for stablecoins continues to evolve.
How payment infrastructure develops over the coming years will be worth watching.
Taken individually, none of these announcements changes the industry overnight.
Collectively, however, they illustrate how @veloprotocol is building a broader PayFi ecosystem that spans wallets, payments, merchants, stablecoins and settlement infrastructure.
Infrastructure adoption is often incremental.
This appears to be another step in that direction.
Another step forward in connecting PayFi with real-world financial experiences.
Together with @Zebec_HQ, we're bringing the Velo Card to market—making it easier to fund, spend, and use digital assets in everyday life.
More to come. 🚀

Exciting times, Orbit is wiring up $USDV. Got velo:native ?
There were actually a few test $USDV transactions 4 days ago, and one today right after orbit app update on app store.

First confirmed $USDV to $USDC exchange transaction on BNB Smart Chain. This is the first time we have seen exchange, level operations linked to the VELO DRS contract. Previously it was only peer to peer settlement between internal wallets. The architecture is waking up.
