People are forgetting one important fact in regards to the $STRC recovery to par at $100:

$STRC short interest is in the hundreds of millions.

Short sellers have to buy back $STRC as it goes up.

This increases the price faster and further than expected.

@Strategy has ~$895M of remaining $STRC buyback budget available and $STRC is only $750M in market cap removed from $100 per share. But it doesn't even take $750M to close a $750M gap in the market cap.

With the first $25M buy back we didn't see $25M market cap increase, but ~$100M market cap increase (~$1 stock price increase).

1. Buybacks dry out sellers
2. Short sellers get liquidated
3. New and previous buyers step in
4. Further buybacks enforce the cycle
5. The cycle repeats until $STRC hits $100

George, unfortunately I don't think you're correctly informed on how this soft fork will play out. There is no world where a bunch of folks can spin up a minority soft fork and have it activated on the rest of the network.

That would mean Bitcoin is vulnerable to a sybil attack of cheap nodes, and the reality is Bitcoin is designed to resist this.

What is going to happen, is RDTS nodes will reject a block post fork, it will cause a chainsplit, and any miners on the RDTS side will quickly realise they are now mining a worthless LukeCashJr coin. Your node will halt, and no blocks will be mined on that chain.

This will play out in a few days, and it will be a learning experience for many.
