In the midst of difficult times, we have even more reason to rejoice. Yesterday, my son Jesse (who just returned from Syria) joined the Catholic Church and became godfather to our granddaughter who was then baptized. That makes 2 (of 3) of my kids and their spouses who came into the Church in 2026. God’s mercy and faithfulness know no bounds.
@puHHembIDSepoH Im so sorry you can’t refute what I’m saying so you have to keep dodging and now attack my appearance. You really should just call it a day.
Do Catholics pray to dead saints? Jesus clarifies: God is not the God of the dead, but the living. Old Testament saints like Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob are more alive than we can imagine. The real question is: Will we believe Jesus? #Christianity#Faith
What if infant baptism wasn't a mistake? For 1500 years, all Christians practiced it. The real question: why *wouldn't* children be included in the covenant? #Christianity#Theology#Faith
NEW: Cardinal McElroy has removed Monsignor Stephen Rossetti as an exorcist for the archdiocese of Washington.
McElroy said that “statements made by Mgr Rossetti linking UFOs to demonic presence & the Center’s recent use of social media gravely undermine the Church’s very precise teaching on the devil, demons & exorcism”
In a recent, now deleted video, Rossetti had said that “it’s my personal belief that probably many, if not most of these UFO sightings are in fact demons”
Are you talking about the faith "once for all entrusted to God’s holy people"? (Jude 1:3) The faith that Jesus told the apostles to teach to the world? (Matthew 28:19-20)? The traditions that St. Paul told the Church in Thessalonica to "hold fast to, whether by mouth or by written word?" (2 Thess 2:15). This Church baptized infants. Even the Reformers (who also baptized infants) agreed that this was the practice of the early Church. If you want to be in denial about that, that's your deal.
In a powerful conversation with @KeithNester1, Father Dave shares his faith story, the lasting impact of St. Francis of Assisi, and how Franciscan University is forming the next generation of faithful Catholic leaders.
They also discuss the life-changing impact of the Steubenville Conferences and what authentic Catholic formation looks like in a culture hungry for truth. https://t.co/Z4laYOmKPJ

@PaulDibartolo Jesus also never told anyone to read the New Testament, pray to the Holy Spirit, start their own churches, pray the sinner's prayer, or accept him into their heart as their personal Lord and Savior. Does that mean you shouldn't do any of those things?
Have you not heard of the Apostolic Fathers? St. Ignatius of Antioch, St. Polycarp, St. Clement of Rome, St. Papias of Hierapolis, for example. They all practiced infant baptism as attested by Origin, and others. But since you want scripture, Acts records that entire households were baptized. Peter also says in the context of baptism that this promise includes children *](Acts 2:39). St. Paul also connects Baptism to circumcision (which was done to infants). Furthermore, I didn't say this was all about the scripture- you did. Since that's your position, defend the canon of the New Testament from the scripture alone.
