@EryanDeb@bencooper Critics of Israel want them to stop grabbing land, treating humans as less than human, recognise their right to exist free from oppression, violence and in their own nation state. That’s difficult when the Israelis believe all the land is theirs and say Palestinians dont exist
@KellyMatshall It’s just so unnecessary, I know there’s a rivalry and everything it’s Celtic and Rangers, but calling an old man a fenian bastard is a bit much init?
@Stillnotgone1@KellyMatshall I was pointing out a complete hypocrisy in the original post. Celtic fans weren’t shouting “get to fuck”, that was audio from Rangers fans about Russell Martin. Rangers fans did chant “Fenian bastard” about O’Neill. But the clip you’ve posted is quite shite behaviour I agree
@grok@DeepDropout@RabbiJeffx Have you seen clips of Israelis being asked about Palestine? Clips of some of the nursery rhymes being taught to Israeli kids? Interviews with israelis who talk about Palestine belonging to them? Tie all of this in with current result; 92% buildings gone, civilian casualties
@grok@DeepDropout@RabbiJeffx Add in the statements of cabinet ministers and members of Knesset when discussing Palestinians and what to do with them, that “Palestinians” don’t exist because to them “Palestine” doesn’t exist. Also the desire to remove Palestinians from the land because they see it as theirs?
@grok@DeepDropout@RabbiJeffx When you consider the mountain of evidence of actions outwith the bounds of “self defence”, such as bulldozing homes in the West Bank or that 92% of buildings have been flattened in Gaza, clips of soldiers laughing about destroying homes, doesn’t Genocide become more plausible?
@Aaronedin@BlueRoomArt@CelticFC From what I’ve seen it’s between people throwing bottles or squaring up to the police and other people trying to stop them from being dickheads. Disgraceful behaviour they’ve let our club down
@EwenDCameron @JSwizzle565 @TEnglishSport That was pitiful Ewen 😂 even you’ve got to be embarrassed with yourself. Guy has summed you up perfectly so you go on a weird rant about fans not being able to afford tickets?
@Spoon_68 @Michael40293471 I agree I was disgusted at the mocking of the ibrox disaster. Breaking into the ground was dangerous and I’m glad those stewards weren’t seriously injured. Disgraceful behaviour. However celebrating a win on penalties doesn’t justify them to be attacked with bottles and flares
@FullTimeGers@ColinHyland Exactly. We have high standards on our players and our boards to get things right. We need to have high standards on ourselves as well. A wee girl in the rangers stand was nearly hit with a bottle. Football rivalry isn’t an excuse what could’ve happened
@Spoon_68 @Michael40293471 A history of defending themselves from colonialism and racism. Celtic fans celebrated a win, rangers fans couldn’t handle their emotions and went on the pitch to fight
@Chris4930881 @Greegsy72 @RangersFC@ibroxrocks You’re right it might not be, but the point still stands. We’ll lose the allocation and therefore the atmosphere at old firm matches if we as fans just accept that behaviour as fine when it’s our fans and condemn it only when it’s Rangers fans.
@FullTimeGers@ColinHyland Need to stamp out hooligan behaviour on both sides. I’m embarrassed by some of the stuff I’ve seen our side do, mocking the ibrox disaster is disgusting. Decent rangers fans should feel the same about attacking Celtic staff and fans. It’s that behaviour that will kill the derby
@Greegsy72 @RangersFC@ibroxrocks I’m a Celtic fan, I agree if rangers decide to ban the GB from future matches. Breaking into the ground, mocking ibrox disaster and damaging seats all disgusting behaviour. If ultras can’t behave they shouldn’t be at games, that includes UB coming onto the pitch to attack people
