This is the #gamedev profile of Isaac Kellogg. I'm developing an as-yet untitled stealth game about some kind of ninja.
Have previously dabbled with GameMaker.
Took some time learning #DaVinciResolve basics to get a video devlog started for my latest #gamedev project in #UnrealEngine! It's not much of a looker, yet, but I'm building some good dev momentum!
I'll probably jump into some #Blender3d next.

Sometimes it can feel like the thing you're working on is complete and utter crap. These are four things you should remember, to remind you why you're not a good judge of character of your own work.
Okay this was WAY harder to make than I expected, but it should explain my greenscreen+3d Environment workflow better than the crazy hand gestures I've been using up to this point. #b3d

Today's #b3d project was this little blood vial. Pretty simple geometry but it was fun to knock out in a couple hours (still learning).
Next step is to export/import into #UnrealEngine
Lethal mode amplifies this, where every group combat encounter is basically a multi-person standoff, so the enemies you're able to take out "1v1" are super valuable.
I've been really enjoying what @SuckerPunchProd pulled off with #ghostoftshushima's combat!
When you walk into a camp in Tsushima and demand a stand-off, it's framed as a show of enormous bravado, but in a very real sense I am saying "Mongols: please don't all attack me at once. That would be so hard for me. I can only really fight one guy, if that."
@SnoutUp Based on your description you could go with "ascension".. mode could be "dungeon climb" since you're "ascending".. Or you could invert that and say you're "descending" to more difficult dungeon "depths" instead of just traveling to new dungeons each time.. "dungeon delve"? 🤷🏼♂️
🙌Thx for the 1K followers everyone!!!🙏Little jump study here with a personal character that I'm working on. Somehow this rig test turned educational XDXD #animation#animtip#lowpoly
This has one of those slick core puzzler mechanics that seems to practically self-invent lots of interesting applications all on its own, yet some of the applications shown here *still* come off as super inventive!
I'll be watching this one.

Toodee and Topdee is a 2d platformer and a top-down puzzler merged together to create something new!

Went with something a bit more goofy for my #blenderdonuts animation! #Blender3d's animation tools were too much fun.
I might run through one or two more #blenderguru tuts to make sure I've got the hang of things before I jump into #gamedev asset creation. Having fun so far!
Final #Blender3d donut render! Thanks to @andrewpprice for the excellent tutorial series!
The plate/spoon "homework" made for great self-learning exercises. I didn't expect to ever feel proud of a spoon.
Will post the animation later! Mine's funky.

Looks like Suzanne has the #MondayBlues
Or at least the CG Monkey version of that.
This was just a fun lil test render on some newer hardware, and a chance for me to play around with materials in #Blender3d! It's the default monkey over a warped plane.
