@sammywoodhouse1 @ask_abuse So I have just been at town waiting bus and I bumped into a lass raped on Monday and homeless and they not doing checks on her or anything

What’s sad @SuellaBraverman is that @snatched1400 has had to bring this as a private prosecution. I hope you will never forget the stories you heard that day (in @Rochdale actually) when I brought 3 survivors to speak to you about their experiences.
I wanted you and @RishiSunak to hear these “from the REAL victims which is why I brought them. I’m grateful you met them, and heard their stories. I can do no more, they can do no more. But there are thousands more survivors just the same - just ask me if you want to hear these unfiltered truths from them!
But YOU can do more. Please remember those conversations, and take them with you into every meeting where you talk about #criminaljustice #policing and ACT. Do something. Use your position to change this, to increase transparency and honesty, because the failures are systemic. Police leaders lie and cover up the truth.
Do not believe anything they tell you. Speak to survivors like @snatched1400 and therein lies the solution.
Manhunt to capture a 21 year old spi who escaped from jail, and every politician has spoken to mainstream media. A 10 year old girl was found dead in her surrey home, and the parents have vanished, and total silence. Nothing from our politicians.
Another children's minister with zero experience. That's 5 in 18 months, and we question why our most vulnerable children are failing or falling off the care cliff. It's becoming very concerning and embarrassing.
Through relentless campaigning and activism, Maggie and TMOF have highlighted the national problem of CSAE and the failure of senior police officers and criminal justice agencies to fulfil their legal obligation to protect children from abuse and prosecute perpetrators.
Had a couple of responses back from The Minister of State for Justice in regards to mothers and children born from sexual violence.
The only thing it confirmed with me is just how uneducated some people in our government are in regards to this issue.
The fight goes on.😔

"As a survivor of abuse in Rotherham I feel like we are being failed all over again by the system.
"Our system is not fit for purpose.
"People cannot expect victims to come forward and report when we have such horrendous sentences in place."

On Saturday 11th February, GB News aired a documentary investigating the continuing operation of “grooming”, sexual abuse and exploitation of children by organized criminal “gangs” across the UK.

A mountain to climb! That can only be climbed by listening to the experiences of victims and survivors. Well said @MaggieOliverUK as always. If you want to help us climb that mountain by sharing your story or volunteering with us, please get in touch through our website
National Crime Agency does not publish details its misconduct hearings and they are not held in public because it is not a police force and its officers are civil servants. But, to confuse matters the Independent Office of Police Conduct (IOPC) does investigate some of its cases.
There was definitely no “help in place” to help me when I went to Chief Constable @peter1fahy with my concerns around child abuse. Instead he told the media I was “too emotionally involved” & “bereaved”…
Amazing work by @GBNEWS and @CDP1882 in their first GBNews investigates documentary into Grooming gangs. Here is a small extract from my follow on interview with @mrmarkdolan … Thankyou. We MUST continue fighting for these victims and keeping up the pressure for change
Rotherham whistleblower Jayne Senior: We were told these children were consenting... and that we were breaching a human rights issue, but it was never the human rights of the children, it was the human rights of the abusers.

Going into care is not a choice. It's not an experience but a condition. At 18 you're abandoned by the state, left to defend for yourself. Imagine if your parents totally cut you off at 18 and said never make contact with them again. #changeiscoming#protected#characteristic
