Disability isn’t all wheelchairs and hospital beds. It’s fatigue, joint pain, memory loss, sensory issues—often invisible but still life-changing. These cuts ignore that reality. #TakingThePIP
1) To @UKLabour. It's really very simple. Implement the proposed 4 point #PIP rule & I'll lose not just PIP, but #LCWRA#UniversalCredit.
I will not be able to feed myself, clothe myself, or pay for assistance. I will lose my home.
I'll still not be able to work..
Taking PIP from disabled people is so cruel. How are they meant to survive. Talking to my wonderful friend @cheryleehouston who is working tirelessly to stop this. #Takingthepip
Now they've cancelled taking £300 from pensioners on £35,000, perhaps they can cancel taking £8,000–£10,000 from chronically ill and disabled people with incomes of around £15,000.
#takingthepip
I’m speaking out because cutting PIP would be devastating. It’s been my lifeline — helping me live independently and build a comedy career. Without it, I wouldn’t have managed. This is about dignity, not just money.
These cuts are dangerous. Stop #TakingThePIP.

Any medics on here help me out, my total serum protein has come back low on a recent blood test, is there a test to find out which protein? What can cause low levels of protein? My diet is average. #bloodtests#lowprotein
So I’ve got home from my diabetic review, blood pressure was checked, 2 readings taken as it was high - 142/94. I’ve got to monitor my blood pressure for 7 days. The surgery didn’t have a spare one. I can’t afford one 🤷♀️ don’t have any money until next Friday.
If you’re on #DisabilityBenefits, it’s ok to have hobbies, holidays, food deliveries, and so on. Benefits exist so disabled people can live safely, independently, with quality of life. Don’t let government rhetoric make you feel guilty for existing.
Today, as I am one of the many disabled people too sick to protest in person, I will be reposting anything with #WelfareNotWarfare tagged as much as I can to increase visibility. Stop the cuts. Disabled rights are human rights.
If you had bought Starmer's Labour government in a shop, you would be entitled to your money back under the Sale of Goods Act.
This Labour government was sold to you under false pretences and is not fit for purpose.
Universal Credit Health element is to be cut by 50% for new claimants and then frozen.
So if you are disabled and literally cannot work, you have just been condemned to a lifetime of poverty.
Labour - RED TORIES

Reeves states, "I will always put working people first." Does this mean she thinks disabled and chronically ill people who are unable to work are second-class citizens? #PMQs#SpringStatement
