Doug passed away Tuesday afternoon. He could no longer walk on his own and he told us it was time. He went so peacefully. He felt no pain. The sun was shining.
It was such an honor to be Doug's person. He taught me infinitely more than I taught him. I adopted him knowing he wouldn't be with me long, and I'm so incredibly grateful we got 3 years. We made the most of them.
Doug's presence had such a weight to it. He was impossible to ignore for many reasons, his size only one of them. I told him the foundation he inspired will help dogs well beyond his time here. I think he always thought that was pretty cool.
You're stardust again, Douggy. Come back to me in whatever form you like. I'll know it's you. And to whoever is with him now, please give him your love. He gave so much of his. 15/10 ❤️
This will only be effective if EVERYONE refrains from tweeting (X-ing?) on August 1st a/k/a #TweetlessTuesday. Let's show the owner the POWER OF THE PEOPLE. Honestly, would it kill you to keep your thoughts to yourself for 1 damn day? Read a book! 👀 #August1stTweetOutDay
@lanadoescomedy@RemRunner I saw my first neurologist at 15. It took 16 years after that for a sleep doctor to say, "I think you have narcolepsy." Life changing.
Wouldn’t it be great if the #TedLasso truth bomb is that he fourth walls it and says into the camera that season 4 starts next week and that’s why season 3 was like five months late coming out and then Beard goes “SEASON 4, BEBEH” and we all cheer?
This is Morgan. He's been locked inside an abandoned property for the last SIX YEARS! You can help us cover his medical care by clicking the link below ❤️🩹
