The guy on the left is called Patrick Riang’a. He is the Operations Manager at Car Soko, currently one of the biggest motor vehicle selling companies in Nairobi. At the time, Goliath had been left stranded after Obinna invited him for an interview and then left him matako wazi in the streets of Nairobi. Patrick took him in, polished him, rented a house for him, and patiently taught him the art of marketing. Today, the duo has taken car marketing by storm.

Just last month alone, the once-village man who knew nothing about selling cars closed deals for two SUVs worth KSh 30 million. Their marketing strategy is admirable, and the pair has quickly become an internet sensation.

As we speak, Goliath wa Bungoma is in the process of finishing a three-bedroom bungalow back in Bungoma. A man who was once on the verge of sleeping on the streets is now living a comfortable life, all thanks to Patrick’s guidance and belief in him.

There is a powerful lesson in this story: in life, you need a Patrick,, someone who believes in you, lifts you up when you are down, and helps align you with your destiny. Patrick is a great example of how men should support and uplift one another, especially those in vulnerable situations.

If we stop looking down on others and humiliating fellow men the way Goliath was once embarrassed on public platform by Obinna, we can build a nation filled with confident, empowered, and successful men.

What a shame. I personally don't agree with H.E GACHAGUA @rigathi on many things. I even believe he is tribal bigot. But in the last three weeks Gachagua brought to the fore a very important national question...corruption/theft by the political elites in NFD and low quality leadership saddled with the people. The media cannot boycott him because they disagree with him. The media expresses an opinion only when rendering an editorial. This was a mere interview...a question and answer session. They should have interviewed him and asked him all the hard and difficult questions they had in mind. Boycotting Hon Gachagua by NFD media is STUPID act of journalistic cowardice.
