Mr. Arnold Mukose, a journalist with the Alternative Digitalk media, was abducted two days ago after concluding a talkshow. Yesterday, the military also attempted to abduct Digitalk's proprietor, Norman Tumuhimbise, when they raided his home. The whereabouts of Arnold, and the justification for these actions, are currently unknown. We demand that the regime respect Arnold's rights by either setting him free or allowing him the due process of law if he committed any crime. The persecution of citizens because of their opinions MUST STOP!
Breaking news.

“…Clerks, data entrants, and messengers are powerful. They determine which files move, which disappear, and who gains access to the building itself.
Truth be told, the Registry operates on a
"money talks, BS Walks" logic. Everyone knows it but it is taboo to talk about it…”
We have been officially nominated by the Electoral Commission of Mityana to represent Mityana Municipality, alongside Nabbosa (@MukisaProsiceN) for Mityana District. Later, we held a heartfelt Thanksgiving to the People in Buswabulongo–Mityana. Grateful for the love and trust!
Together with activists @MasanjaOwo81030, @ClaireNamara12, @Makana_Kennedy, and @MrOracle256, we attended the habeas corpus hearing for Bob Njagi and Nicholas Oyoo, who were kidnapped and remain detained in Uganda. Justice Simon Peter Kinobe is expected to deliver his ruling later today, following the government's denial of holding them in custody. #FreeNicholasOyoo #FreeBobNjagi #StopAbductionsEA
Very saddening to learn of the death of comrade Namirembe Angella, the former leader of the Youth Wing of our People Power movement in Buganda sub-region. She succumbed to injuries she sustained in a boda boda accident in Mengo yesterday. Our condolences go out to her family, friends, and fellow comrades in the struggle. May her soul rest in peace.
