🇫🇷 1989 24 Hours of Le Mans
Amazing fan footage taken beside the Mulsanne Straight.
Historically a single unbroken straight, it was split into three equal sections by two chicanes in 1990 to limit dangerously high speeds which is the year after this footage.

Lovely way to say goodbye.
Gordon will be a big miss next season but what an example he has to set to future signings and our academy lads on what you can achieve at this club if you apply yourself and buy into the culture.
It was a rough start to his #NUFC career but what a player he became for us. I wish him all the best.
In the game of life, Alex Zanardi left nothing in the tank. I remember when he asked me to write the foreword for his book. I asked him anything you want me to say? He said: Well, I need to order new legs- how tall do you think I should be?
With excellent timing, a new book on the great Danny Blanchflower
💯 celebrating centenary of his birth
⭐️ Surely Tottenham’s greatest ever captain, how they could do with him now and all that…

📽️ There have been many scary, unnerving days in this latest Gulf war.
But the past 24 hours was particularly bad.
Why? Because both sides are now causing lasting damage to the world economy's life support system.
Our latest primer on the econ consequences of this war👇
One of the things I’ve always liked about Anthony Gordon is, he says it as it is. Rarely speaks in cliches - always speaks from the heart.
Good to hear him come out and clear this up today 👏
A truly remarkable victory for Newcastle United. Fuelled by a sense of injustice, roared on by a frenzied home crowd. Inspired and brave, they were the better team with 11 players and the better team with 10. Will Osula's winning goal was sensational. A group that triumphed in adversity #nufc

A sold-out SCG crowd roared as Ahmed al-Ahmed, his arm in sling and his hand on his heart, walked onto the pitch just before play began of the final Test of the Ashes series. Great Gesture ❤️ #Ashes#BondiBeach
Wonderful reading of an 80 year old who wakes up in her younger 41 year old body, just for one day. ❤️❤️
Happy New Year everyone!
It will go by in a flash.
Make it count. 🥰
Very sad to learn of the death of Chris Rea. He was a truly wonderful man who was a very knowledgeable motor sport fan, evident through his Ferrari-focussed La Passione movie, as well as his own racing activities. I was fortunate enough to get to know him and see him play live a few times. His music went far beyond the well known early hits - he was a brilliant blues singer, composer and guitarist, as his later projects attest. In 2005 he issued the extraordinary Blue Guitars, an 11-disc collection of 137 songs he'd written that told the history of the blues - an incredible achievement. Here's a track from La Passione:
