@ArdenAsset@zerohedge Europe is done with Russian energy blackmail. They are done with doing business there. It will be generations before the West will trust Russia again, if ever. Russia best get used to being more Asian as these will be the ones trading with them.
@ArdenAsset@zerohedge You are confused, and very insulting to Ukrainians to regurgitate that old Russian propaganda about a coup, do you really believe the US completely outsmarted Russia by planning an executing a coup in Ukraine? Give me a break, the Ukrainians tossed Yanukovych out on their own.
@ArdenAsset@zerohedge Are you aware that after the citizens tossed out that corrupt bastard Yanukovych and before the war there were two elections in Ukraine? Ukraine has a century long history of rebelling against despots. This war is not helping Christianity in the least.
@ArdenAsset@zerohedge Are you trying to justify the invasion of Ukraine by comparing it to Cuba? That's a weird comparison. BTW if the Russians in East Ukraine felt persecuted a better option than war would have been to move to Russia where there is astonishing amounts of land.
@ArdenAsset@zerohedge That is a clear example of an unstable high risk operating environment. Rogue countries vulnerable to sanctions are red flags in risk assessment.
@ArdenAsset@zerohedge I never claimed Russia kicked them out. This is from MacDonalds: The humanitarian crisis caused by the war in Ukraine, and the precipitating unpredictable operating environment, have led McDonaldโs to conclude that continued ownership of the business in Russia is no longer...
@jimmycarr Jimmy in the Calgary Saddledome watching a preseason Flames game, welcome to Alberta, hope you have a great visit and your shows are epic laugh fests.๐
@IterIntellectus Don't mistake compassion for empathy - they are different states of being. Saying no to your child's demand for more candy is compassionate as you know his being fed more sugar is bad for him, so you must be firm for his greater good. Empathy caves in to irrational feeling.
@ColJessup25@Peter_Turchin Europeans are their own entity and don't need to align themself either way. But peripheral countries do. Belarus aligned with the Russky Mir and remains poor. Poland aligned with Europe and is rich now. Which example should Ukraine follow?
