KentGrams

Our new Chancellor writes us emails. We decided to start writing back. Because Kent is the New Orange

[KentGrams @KentGrams]

.@SU_GSO @SU_InnComplete Well, after Legal Services that is. And that is something we definitely need!

So for real, a poll readers. # Times You've been to InnComple

#NotAgainSU: Here is a timeline of incidents that have occurred since the 7th of November

[AJ+ @ajplus]

@dailyorange Black students have been leading a sit-in at Syracuse University for 6 straight days. #NotAgainSU has a list of demands for their university, including:

◾️Expel anyone involved in racist incidents
◾️Hire more counselors that represent marginalized groups

[Vicky 🎀 @ya_kaday]

here is a list of our demands/clauses.

[K. Zero Lin @kzerolin]

Several Chinese students shared their experiences of being mistreated by their professors. A Chinese senior says his English instructor told him to get back to China because he is “bad at” English. #NotAgainSU

[KentGrams @KentGrams]

@danaleecloud In sum: We support Dana Cloud. We support resisting/dismantling fascist, capitalist, colonial systems of white supremacy.Including #HigherEd

[KentGrams @KentGrams]

@danaleecloud Listen, stop making us analyze, we have research to do! We're happy Kent finally did the bare minimum & that's sad. esp since it took YEARS

[KentGrams @KentGrams]

@danaleecloud He IS a white dude after all. And baby steps are the only ones they know. Despite the fact this was likely to avoid a lawsuit ala Salaita...

[KentGrams @KentGrams]

@danaleecloud Ok, fine. The "We are a university" is hilarious in that he ignores the ways he is corporatizing and increasing the militarization of SU...

[KentGrams @KentGrams]

He said no to censoring prof @danaleecloud for her CORRECT remarks about protesting fascists in Syracuse.

[KentGrams @KentGrams]

STOP THE PRESSES, Kentlanders! It finally happened. #BroKent sent out an email we *agree* with??! 🙃🤪😱😱

[KentGrams @KentGrams]

Was @SU_GSO inspired by our polls?! Check out your email & fill out their survey, Kentlanders! And if you didn't get one, contact @raj28sep

[KentGrams @KentGrams]

Hey Kentlanders, don't forget to take our poll! And tell your friends
(Also there is a picnic poll further down on this thread, take both!) https://t.co/WEOPh0sHSL

[KentGrams @KentGrams]

.@SU_GSO @SU_InnComplete @SU_ITS US:
https://t.co/CBWSFCgK8K

[KentGrams @KentGrams]

.@SU_GSO @SU_InnComplete @SU_ITS Everything's electronic these days. Yet we are spending money on paper, pencils, and white-out? <extreme side eye>

[KentGrams @KentGrams]

.@SU_GSO @SU_InnComplete @SU_ITS Also, office supplies? REALLY? An editorial poll shows our home departments have those.... maybe they could be convinced to share?

[KentGrams @KentGrams]

.@SU_GSO @SU_InnComplete @SU_ITS also, can we get a breakdown on the "similar spending"? Are bribes hiding in there? Details pls!

[KentGrams @KentGrams]

.@SU_GSO @SU_InnComplete @SU_ITS And if this 21k includes food for GSO meetings, then they need food AND vague "appreciation" that costs 2200 as well?!

[KentGrams @KentGrams]

.@SU_GSO @SU_InnComplete @SU_ITS Who knows, maybe there is a logical explanation. Like GSO Pres needs to protect cabinet from Russian hackers for the upcoming election?

[KentGrams @KentGrams]

.@SU_GSO @SU_InnComplete 2) ITS Support?! Do other student groups have to pay for that? ie the undergrad student government?
@SU_ITS: we'd love an answer!

[KentGrams @KentGrams]

.@SU_GSO @SU_InnComplete 1) WHY ARE WE PAYING FOR SPACE?? If SU/Kent is making us do that, let's fight that shit!
