I recommend following @YouTube because as educators I feel like we are going to use this platform a lot when trying to teach about certain concepts. It's a nice platform that's easy to navigate. Teachers can also have students create projects on it.

I recommend following @learnforjustice because they provide K-12 teachers free resources on social justice and anti-bias education. They help make topics that are complex easy to teach in a way for students to understand.
#EDUC331#pstpln#FF
I recommend following @CommonSenseEd because it gives teachers free digital learning tools to teach about digital citizenship in their classrooms.
#EDUC331#pstpln#FF
I recommend following @canva because they are a great free digital resource where teachers can assign students to do projects like infographics, and many more. Students can also download their projects and print them off for free.

I recommend following @aafcs if your an FCS educator. They have many conferences, and activities that you can go to become more involved with FCS. You can also incorporate what you've learned at these conferences into your lesson plans.

@stephwurking A4: I would say my assertiveness as an early childhood educator would be about a 6 because I'm constantly being assertive with my students for them to be good listeners. I do wonder what it will be when I start teaching high school.

@stephwurking A3: Active student learning is a way for students to express their learning in ways that are to their skill levels. Although sometimes this can be a challenge with creating activities that fit every students needs.

@stephwurking A2: Yes I agree. I work in an early childhood classroom and sometimes teachers take the discipline approach, but that doesn't always help the situation. Days that I'm great at classroom management my students enjoy our activities more.

@stephwurking A1: I consider classroom management as skills and techniques geared towards your entire class, where as behavior management is working with your students one on one. #NT2T#EDUC331#pstpln
@KimberlyEs65069 Hi Kimberly! Khan Academy is a fun tool that helps in so many areas of education. I can see myself using this tool in many of my future FCS classes.

@MaddyEDUC Hi Maddy! I really liked using pear deck when I was in school, and can't wait to use it in my future classroom. I do agree that it's a great resource to keep students engaged. #EDUC331#pstpln
An education tool that I've seen used, and really like is Kahoot! I think it's a fun educational tool to use when reviewing for exams, or at the beginning of the year to get to know your students.

@aca11tree I haven't had experience with first day of class activities yet, but I do want to try out the jolly rancher game. Each student picks a jolly rancher, and whatever color it is there is a question on the board coordinated with it they have to answer.

@teacherkobe One of the ways I've found best to connect with my students is continuously talking with them about things that interest them. I've been able to connect with one of my students by talking about her future restaurant she wants to own.
@teacherkobe Hi Jakobe! I completely agree that as teachers we need to support and build off each other to expand our community. I think this challenge is going to be fun, and I can't wait to gain more insight from it.
