There he goes my guy named Y79, but privately I named him “Freedom.” Most fun thing I did last week @IntBirdRescue

[Port of Long Beach @portoflongbeach]

Thank you @intbirdrescue for your tireless work to rehabilitate and care for sick & injured birds. Today 2 pelicans were released back into the wild after being cared for by the organization. We’re proud to sponsor organizations doing such valuable work with our local wild life!

[Port of Long Beach @portoflongbeach]

Thank you, @CAGovernor, John Pocari @LongBeachMayor, @MayorOfLA & ILWU Leaders and many other officials for visiting #POLB. In the San Pedro Bay, we move 40% of the nation's waterborne cargo, cargo bound for every congressional district. (1/2)

[Kerry Gerot @KerryGerotPIO]

Thank you @IntBirdRescue for everything you do to save wildlife and make our communities better. This was the coolest thing I did last week and so gratifying to support you from @portoflongbeach and my Communications team!

[International Bird Rescue @IntBirdRescue]

Magical releases: Brown Pelican Y79 (& Y78) return to the wild: Thanks again to @portoflongbeach who helped us so much in 2021 – including jumping in to support our efforts at July Elegant Tern rescue in Long Beach Harbor.

Celebrating the completion of LB Container Terminal (LBCT) at Port of Long Beach last night with a great event right on the wharf next to the water. Greenest, most tech advanced port terminal in N. America, zero and near zero emissions. #POLB&LBCT #PortofChoice
