Great personalities who shaped human civilization should be portrayed responsibly.
Commercial promotions must not come at the cost of cultural respect.

👉The ‘Amazon India’ company has faced fierce criticism for using the likeness of the great Indian mathematician and astronomer Aryabhatta, who gave the priceless gift of ‘zero’ to the world, to commercially promote its services❗❗

Great scientist Aryabhatta insulted in ‘Amazon India’ advertisement!
This advertisement is trivialising our culture, history, and our greatest minds for commercial benefits in general and hurting Hindu sentiments in particular. It needs to be checked.

It is unacceptable for a global platform like Amazon to disrespect our historical icons for marketing. Aryabhata, the father of zero, deserves respect, not mockery. We demand an immediate apology and the removal of this offensive advertisement.

🚨 Hindu Sentiments Vindicated! 🚨

The Maharashtra Rangabhumi Censor Board has directed the producer of the controversial play ‘Itthala’ to remove objectionable content, change the play’s title, and resubmit a revised script for approval.

This comes as a major victory for the sustained efforts of the @HinduJagrutiOrg and the Warkari community, who opposed the play for allegedly insulting revered traditions and hurting Hindu sentiments.

The play used names associated with revered saints for characters depicted as criminals involved in murder and other unlawful acts, leading to widespread outrage among devotees.

🚩 How could the board even approve the play? – @SG_HJS
