@WendyENThomas Carrot ginger. Carrots, ginger, onion, garlic, maple syrup, sriracha, coconut milk. Cook it till soft and then blend. Thick and delicious.
@TastingHistory1 Get a place in Trastevere. Closest you’ll get to “real Rome”. Its beautiful and the team runs everywhere. I spent a summer in a rented apartment and it was magic.
@Larryferlazzo I am notoriously name blind. I will remember your life story and not your name. I’m upfront, apologetic, and let folks know I’m slow at names.
@ShawnaBorman I gave them, one by one, to the tree, as my mother before me. Generations staring back from the gnarled bark. Aunts and uncles, brothers and sisters, daughters and sons.
@heymrsbond I used to spend $50 at Staples and get a bunch of stuff. It went in a tool box I put in my room, take what you need, need what you take. I found I only ever really run out of pens. But we were a 1:1 school and I did most everything online.
@heymrsbond The hardest presentation they’ll likely give their entire lives. If they can pull it off ( we prep and practice for weeks) nothing in college will be harder.
@heymrsbond I really like to do TedTalks following the rules of the actual presentation. No note cards, slides. We record it and do it in front of an audience
In other news, my story "Pomegranate and the City of Stories" is out from @kaleidotrope. I wrote it roughly a million years ago. It shares a universe with a number of other stories. I'm pretty proud of it.
