Would-be author, gamer, pro wrestling fan, 3D and AI artist, anime fan, Switch and PS5 owner, all around sarcastic, wisecracking goof. Potential future VTuber.
@NikTek You grab your GTA 6 preorder from your local store. You bring it home, open the box and find the download code. You enter the code and... THIS CODE IS INVALID. Turns out that a hacker stole the code long before you could use it, leaving you with an empty box.
If Sony wants to stay the course with an all-digital only future, they'd best not be surprised if and when in 2028, every one of their servers suffers some catastrophic data breach to the point where they can't recover and lose everything.
@khaliltooshort Personally I hope GTA 6 flops ultra hard to the point that PlayStation would have no other choice but to reverse course and continue development of physical disks. Wishful thinking I’ll admit because it’s Grand Theft Auto, but we can hope.
@SmashJT Interesting that they haven’t locked their accounts yet, even before they started promoting their latest distractions. They’re listening, trying to ignore the noise. They are panicking.
@PlayStation, you've been radio silent on social media for 5 days since your misguided anti-consumer 2028 digital only announcement. 5... fucking... days. The widespread backlash will not stop until you respond to it. RESPOND, YOU COWARDS.
@TemplarsRoar I personally think that the GTA franchise as a whole is overrated. I've never understood the appeal of a game franchise where you're basically a criminal stealing cars and causing mayhem. We enough of that crap in NYC or LA.
Yeah, I went there.
@Baker21891973@Ikarsus@DanticsOfficial If it helps, Aisha Clanclan, OF THE CTARL-CTARL EMPIRE by the way, was voiced by Lenore Zann who also just so happened to be the voice of a certain mutant southern belle.
@Pirat_Nation Somehow, I don't think this is going to change anything. Keep fighting, gamers. If you have a physical game in your possession that you bought with your own hard-earned money, it is legally yours.
@gamesyouloved Potential short-term early success will likely be outweighed by the potentially negative long-term ramifications of Sony's deeply shortsighted decision. It's the equivalent of Barnes & Noble ceasing physical book sales and going all digital. It won't last.
