@DavidWanjiru@danaceda@singingwells Some of the members of the group are the same who in 2019 also claimed to be the first to ever record Ogoya Nengo and Olith Ratego, ignoring the fact that we have recorded and toured internationally with both since 2005.
@DavidWanjiru@danaceda Credit to the guys for doing a commendable job. We need more Kenyan artistes borrowing inspiration from home. But as @danaceda pointed out we have a huge archive dating back to 2011 in our @singingwells project. But we're not surprised by the claims of "...the first to do this"
