@0xV0LYX@B_A_D_A_B Road transport limits geometry. Often more expensive due to extra materials required to keep each module structurally stable for transport. Site automation executing custom architectural design or even standard spec homes has a bigger future.
If an illegal has a child in the US, okay fine the child is a citizen. However, the parents immediately get deported. They have the option of bringing the child with them. When the child comes of age, he/she can come to the US. The parents should have a warrant for their immediate arrest with no exceptions and no amnesty whatsoever. It stands the rest of their lives should they attempt to enter again. Minimum jail time of 7 years with hard labor, then deportation.
If the parents leave the child in the US, it is taken away and put up for adoption or to its legal relatives. The biological parents give up all legal rights. Furthermore, the parents home country must pay a penalty of $500,000 per anchor child. If they donโt pay the government can apply financial pressure including banking bans and worldwide blacklists for government officials as well as products and increased tariffs.
@GreatUnwokening@MyLordBebo The gas powered cars donโt have this problem and you donโt know that they would still be shot. Harder to shoot a moving object.
@xierra@MyLordBebo It actually does. If the vehicle is immobilized then the driver and passenger were sitting ducks. In an ICE vehicle it doesnโt care if the pump is attached and the pump does have a quick disconnect if someone drives off. Harder to hit a moving target.
@tigerbygenes@VigilantFox The people generally are wantonly ignorant. It's the small majority that needs to wake everyone up and that is throughout history - either by force or coercion.
You state an interesting theory. I think you're citing one example that can be expanded upon. A/C and the fact that people simply have easier lives mechanically speaking but maybe not psychologically speaking. And that mismatch is a major cause for sedentary living. However, we should note that warmer climates generally produce less than cooler climates. Too hot to work and worry.
I get it. Also, I think in Europe AirBNBs are less expensive than in America. Home owners here were trying to be mini Trump real estate hotel moguls. The fees are excessive- letโs say a room that is $200/nt becomes $350/nt with all the fees. Hotels work on % occupancy and can absorb those admin and cleaning fees across many rooms.
