@chillinwith_dev The thing that you have to think about is that most streamers have a low paying job and are getting no payback from “sponsorships”, “advertise our product to 1K viewers and get 4 bucks in return!” However only the top 1% of streamers get over 70 concurrent viewers

@zachbussey And for brands it makes no sense to invest money on creators reaching under 100 viewers that won’t result in any meaningful return of investment. If anything I’m surprised SE lasted this long

@zachbussey Zach. Let’s break it down. The entire SE business model runs around sponsorships right? Even if they had a premium plan, why would streamers subscribe when only 1 in every 15K streamers make minimum wage? For streamers a premium service for a “kinda ok” OBS addon is not worth it.

@PirateSoftware I dont even think this is just a "it's not sustainable anymore" issue, ESO has had a third of the player base and they call it a success. IMO this is just a AI game slop is cheaper to maintain and will make more money than MMOs kinda thing... Sad day for gaming as a whole

I just find it funny how ESO is averaging 10k daily players and call it a success. Nw was hitting 30-40K players and its getting cut... wild... GGs!
