Major props to @JC_SoCal & @_sn0ww for creating a mini hacker museum of one of the cellular devices @kevinmitnick’s used for operational security during his time on the run.
If you would like to see it - it is currently being housed at the @sec_defcon village.
To learn more about Kevin’s story check out Ghost in the Wires a @nytimes bestselling book - his memoir.

treasured memory of the Mitnick security team. No love like a hacker fam love.
Everyone we have worked with over the years are more than pentesters, phreakers, hackers of every flavor… are dear friends.
It’s a mindset. Hacker culture has never died - it’s evolved and just like infosec it’s forever moving and growing
Excited to see old friends of the Mitnicks and meet newcomers to the cyber world.
Bring it 😝
love when two worlds collide 🩵 @realytcracker + @deadmau5
I better keep the lockpicks going. lets make that video @IAmRedShift showing that they really do work ;)
I know @KevinMitnick would be beaming knowing that there is a day to celebrate National Social Engineering Day and on his birthday, too - August 6!
As far he is concerned he celebrated SE every day 😂.

The late Kevin Mitnick, former Chief Hacking Officer at KnowBe4, was recognized posthumously with a lifetime achievement and people's choice award at the Difference Makers Awards. Congratulations to Kevin for this honor following an extraordinary life.
If @kevinmitnick was here in person, which I know he is from above - he would say thank you to everyone for this award and for accepting him into this industry.
Kevin’s life, obsession, hobby, and passion was cyber security. Aside from @kminx - it was his life.
I wish he was here. Damn I wish he was here, but he is - just from above
My love.
Till we see each other again, I know you are here with me. I hear your voice.
Our son will know you and I am convinced he will be a mini you.
I am grateful we have so many friends all over the world who will teach our son how to hack and more importantly who the real Kevin Mitnick was.
Our little one …our legacy.
The Mitnick Family and KnowBe4 announce the passing of Kevin Mitnick, 59, following a 14-month valiant battle with pancreatic cancer. Kevin will always remain “the world’s most famous hacker”. For more info: https://t.co/l1uvdMrkmL

@rjb4standards@KnowBe4 Oh yes back in the 70's.
Anton Chernoff, Fred Knight, Paul Koning, etc. Can't believe I still remember the names of my targets when I was in High School.
This is my new bad ass password cracker.
I have 24 4090's + 6 2080's all clustered running Hashtopolis.
Thanks to the awesome team at @KnowBe4 that set up and configured the servers for me.
Now to go crack some hashes :-)))))))
@HackingDave I always believed you would be very successful if you went on your own rather than being an employee of a company. You proved my intuition was right. Look at all your amazing accomplishments to date. It took a ton of hard work and determination. I am very proud of you my friend.
Check out the Windows Forensics training course by @13CubedDFIR .. It's only $695 and is given by one of the best forensics investigators I have met. If you are looking to get into forensics, this is the course to take..
