Elon Musk: "AI and robots will replace all jobs. Working will be optional."
Bill Gates: "Humans won't be needed for most things."
I have a simple question.
Without jobs and income, how will people feed their families, get health care, or pay the rent?
The citizens of MN are furious regarding the ongoing issues of fraud. There are working class people and families being told they can't access any assistance because they "make too much money" and yet, fraudulent child care centers are flush with federal dollars!
"We are witnessing America as a failed social experiment," says Dr. @CornelWest. "…Its capitalist economy could not… deliver, in such a way that people could live lives of decency. The nation state, it's criminal justice system…could not generate protection of rights."
As Dr. King said 'a riot is the language of the unheard'. You get the sense that George Floyd was a tipping point for a generation where absolutely nothing has gone right. People saw a cop break the law and kill a man so the reaction was 'okay, we can break the law too'
The dominant image on display tonight: The American Experiment is dead. Killed by the collective knee of white power, white privilege, and white ownership of property/wealth/wage-slave labor. America the Beautiful? We never repented for our Original Sins of slavery & genocide.
Everyone pushing an “outside agitators” narrative is a fool who finds it more comfortable to believe in some grand conspiracy than in the obvious truth that people have fucking had it.
If you’re unbothered or mildly bothered by the 1st knee, but outraged by the 2nd, then, in my father’s words, you’re “more devoted to order than to justice.” And more passionate about an anthem that supposedly symbolizes freedom than you are about a Black man’s freedom to live.
