@TalkNats I really doubt they'd call King up so fast. He's on a tear, that's for sure, but you want to wait a few weeks to make sure it's not just a hot streak. There are probably things he still needs to learn at AAA.
@klwoodjr This also means they're getting the most out of limited talent. Something the Nats really need to learn how to do. (They're getting better, which is encouraging, but a long way to go.)
@thevoiceofevan And while Butera's doing a good job getting .500 ball from an 80M payroll, some nights you're just going to realize it's not the Dodger's pitching staff.
Sucks, but admit it -- this is still a lot better than any of us were expecting in March.
@K_Williamsmedia This is a very, very encouraging development. Given that the big club is credible again, it's nice to finally have something to enjoy.
@klwoodjr@th3chophouse Yep. It's fun just to think about the team's record rather than hoping some stiff will do well enough to bring back a prospect or two.
@klwoodjr I'd like to think this would spur the Lerners into action. They don't need $200M to get strong, they need a #3 starter who can give them 6 innings every time out and cut Mikolas, maybe 1 more good reliever.
Let's talk about extending CJ, Wood and Griffin, but that can wait.
@anishmoonka It's kind of like grading a dump truck for getting lower mileage than a Prius, when they do different jobs. Don't commute in the truck, but a Prius simply can't haul 2 tons of gravel.
@anishmoonka It appears this metric is somewhat misleading then. If you want a big, bright screen, well okay. Apple made it, and the battery works well too. The grade is more judging the owner for wanting to use lots of power than Apple for providing it.
