People with good hearts have the most dangerous anger. They hold it in, stay calm, and keep smiling. They forgive and forgive until the day they finally break. And once they leave, they never return.
Please learn to recognize when you are self sabotaging or abandoning yourself, all in the name of loving a person who does not love you back, all in the name of putting in effort in a relationship where it is not reciprocated, learn to see the signs, learn to feel the weight, learn to hear the quiet voice inside you that knows something is wrong, because that voice is not your enemy, it is your protector, and it has been trying to get your attention for a long time.
You keep giving, keep hoping, keep bending over backward for someone who would not do the same for you, you keep making excuses for their distance, their inconsistency, their lack of effort, you keep telling yourself that if you just try a little harder, love a little louder, give a little more, they will finally see your worth, but they will not, because they are not blind, they are just not interested, and no amount of sacrifice on your part will make them choose you.
So learn to recognize when you are abandoning yourself. Know when to say, you know what, I am nobody's fool, and stop.
I think I finally reached the point where I don’t care anymore. I’m a good person, but I can’t force nobody to see my worth, appreciate what I bring, or value me the way they should. If somebody keeps overlooking me, I let them. I know what I bring to the table, and I’m done trying to convince people they should see it too.
If you can heal from a breakup without running to a rebound or using someone else to fill the emptiness, I'm very proud of you. Many people rush into someone new just to avoid feeling the pain. It takes real strength to sit with the silence after love ends. To face the loneliness without immediately replacing it with another person. Healing requires the courage to actually go through it. When you allow yourself to grieve and rebuild on your own, you are actually putting ur pieces back together.
Yall gotta stop feeling so obligated to people. I tell people all the time if you’re gonna be mad at me about me going ghost from time to time you & I are not gonna mesh well. I'm not obligated to reply to you, or hang out with you. This is my life and I refuse to announce everything I’m experiencing just to please anybody. Let people have their privacy..Let them be weird from time to time.. Some people go ghost when they are going through it... No explanation should ever be needed for any of this!
I used to think communication was everything like if you just say what you feel, things will work out. But i've learned that some people don't listen to understand, they just listen to reply. And that changes everything. You start questioning if you're too much, too sensitive, or just hard to understand. But maybe it's not about being hard to understand. Maybe it's about being with someone who actually wants to. You can say the same thing in a hundred different ways and still feel unheard. And that kind of silence hurts more than saying nothing at all. Because in the end, it's not about talking... it's about being truly understood.
And in the end, I believe that we don't need to do anything to be loved. We spend our lives trying to seem prettier, smarter. But I realized two things. Those who love us see us with their hearts and attribute quality to us beyond those we really have. And those who don't want to love us will never be satisfied with all our efforts. Yes, I really believe that it is important to leave our imperfections alone. They are precious to understand those who see us with heart."
— Frida Kahlo
There's nothing louder than the silence between two people who love each other but ended things because one of them didn't have the capacity to choose the other.
So the other had to choose themselves, even though the didn't want to leave
A woman only remembers two things;
The good she did for you, and the bad you did to her.
It's never the good you did for her,
it's never the bad she did to you.
It's all forgotten.
Once you stop caring about someone the same way, they suddenly look completely different.
You start seeing them as just another regular person. They stop feeling special bcz it was always ur love that made them shine like that and placed them way above everyone else.
Hard truth.
Looking back, I can’t believe how many times I accepted things I never should’ve. I cared so much about keeping the peace, understanding other people, and not making anybody feel bad that I kept ignoring how I felt. I’d make excuses, overlook things, and convince myself to keep giving chances. The more I did that, the more I lost respect for my own boundaries. That changed me. These days I care about people, but not more than I care about myself. If respecting you means disrespecting me, I’m walking away.
You don’t need to be cold. Just inaccessible. Respond slower. Reveal less. Be polite, but unreadable. When people have to guess how you feel, they start treating you like someone they can’t afford to miscalculate. That’s how distance breeds influence.
Sometimes, no matter how deeply you care, some people will never see your worth. They ignore your feelings, overlook your efforts, and take your presence for granted. That's not your value decreasing, it's a sign you're giving your heart to the wrong people.
The hardest thing about understanding an adult
is not seeing their flaws.
It's accepting that their flaws may be their pattern.
When someone dismisses you, breaks their word, or drains your energy for the first time,
it may not be a random mistake.
It may be showing you how they handle relationships.
You think you're giving them another chance.
But sometimes, you're only giving your own hope another chance.
Because you hope they will change.
But reality is:
People don't always become better because you tolerate them.
Sometimes, your tolerance only teaches them what you will accept.
My last relationship taught me that the more chances you give someone, the less they value you. They’re not afraid to lose you because they know no matter what, you won’t walk away. Never let someone get too comfortable with disrespecting you. Love yourself first.
