استقبل قائد الجيش العماد رودولف هيكل في مكتبه - اليرزة الملحق العسكري الروسي العقيد Yuri Penkov، في زيارة وداعية بمناسبة انتهاء مهمته، وقدّم خلالها خلَفه اللواء Krivoruchko Pytor. كما استقبل الملحق العسكري الدنماركي العقيد Thomas Eddelien يرافقه القائم بأعمال السفارة الدنماركية Jacob Faber ووفد من السفارة، وتناول البحث علاقات التعاون بين جيشَي البلدَين.
كذلك استقبل مفتي صور وجبل عامل القاضي الشيخ حسن عبدالله الذي أكد أهمية الالتفاف حول الجيش خلال الأوضاع الاستثنائية الراهنة.
بعدها استقبل نقيب محرري الصحافة جوزف القصيفي مع وفد من النقابة، وجرى عرض الأوضاع العامة والتطورات، والجهود الكبيرة التي تبذلها المؤسسة العسكرية في ظل الصعوبات الحالية، ولا سيما في الجنوب حيث تستمر الاعتداءات من جانب الاحتلال الإسرائيلي. وتم التشديد على أهمية دور الجيش في صون الاستقرار والوحدة الداخلية والسلم الأهلي.
من جهة أخرى، أعرب نقيب محرري الصحافة وأعضاء الوفد عن تقديرهم لتضحيات الجيش ودوره الوطني، مؤكدين ضرورة التضامن مع المؤسسة العسكرية بوصفها الضامن لوحدة لبنان وأمنه.

2/3 In Majdel Selem, Mayor Younes Zahwe called for more support to farmers to revive local production & restore normalcy.

In Tibnine, Nabil Fawaz, Head of Qalaa Union of Municipalities, stressed that municipal policing & stronger staff capacity are key to building public trust.

With @DKinLebanon support, 31 municipalities now provide improved services and strengthen community safety, benefiting +28,000 people.
