@daddyhope@TautonaM@wold_wide2000 The problem is that you think crimes against foreigners are a special type of crime, majority of South Africans who have been victims of crime have never recieved justice. There is nothing special about foreigners who are victims of crime in SA.
We are returning to the dangerous days of organised misinformation. During state capture, Bell Pottinger demonstrated how propaganda could manufacture narratives, repeat them endlessly and confuse public opinion. Today, anti-migration propagandists are using similar methods.
We are now told that more than 100 Eastern Cape schools are standing empty because foreign learners have been removed. Where is the evidence? Name these schools and publish their enrolment figures before and after these protests.
My own high school was closed long ago because dwindling learner numbers made it unviable. Eastern Cape schools have been closing and merging for years because of declining enrolment, rural depopulation, urbanisation, families moving to towns and other provinces, changing settlement patterns and the rationalisation of small, unviable schools.
And here is the statistic that destroys this propaganda: according to the Department of Basic Education’s verified national enrolment data, foreign learners constitute just 1.8% of learners in South Africa. South African citizens constitute 98.2%.
Think about that. Even if every single foreign learner disappeared from every school in South Africa, 98.2% of the learners would still be there. How then can a group constituting just 1.8% of learners suddenly be credited with causing more than 100 schools to become empty?
The numbers simply don’t add up.
Debate immigration policy, enforce our laws and manage our borders effectively, but stop manufacturing facts and turning African migrants into convenient scapegoats for problems that existed long before today’s anti-migration campaigns.
Fight with facts, not propaganda

@daddyhope in our country because of the "economic consequences" If you are going to try and rationalize and justify illegal alien behaviour you must do the same for SANs who break the law too, analyze why they are breaking the law before you call for the law to deal with them.
@daddyhope When those illegal aliens were arrested in Hoedspruit you went on a long rant about the economic consequences but when SAns break the law you want swift justice no analysis because in your mind the rule of law must only be applied to SAns, illegals must be allowed to run amok
@AtholT So sad you have been reduced to this, breaks my heart to imagine how far Gqeberha would be if you had remained mayor from 2016 till now. What Helen did by choosing Mmusi over you was and will forever be unforgivable.
