The Gollingeswara Group of Temples at Biccavolu was built by the famous Eastern Chalukya king Gunagavijayaditya III (Birudanka Bhima) during the 9th century CE.
The site house six sandstone temples, clustered in two different localities of the village.
The first cluster includes the Gollingeswara, Rajarajeswara and Chandrasekhara temples, all west-facing and enclosed within a common compound with a gopuradvara and open porticos. The deity enshrined in the Gollingeswara Temple is known as Vijayasvara Mahadeva - by the name of the donor king. These temples continue to be under worship. (1/2)
After you get married, you’re going to meet ‘better’ people than your spouse. You’re going to meet more good-looking people; kinder and more romantic people; more intelligent and funny people. You will meet people who have in abundance what your partner lacks. The mushy and romanticized idea that your partner will be everything to you, and will satisfy all your needs and wants is idolatry. Contentment in marriage is a virtue not often spoken about.
You must wake up every day appreciating everything your partner is to you, everything they have, their beauty and the things that made you marry them because if you focus on everything they don’t do well, you’ll always meet better people. Protect your heart! See their best part, and always remember that your commitment to marry is more of a duty than it is of mushy feelings. You have to stay committed even on the days you feel your spouse is no longer the best fit for you…

32 km/l in Honda City Hybrid ✅
Honda missed a big opportunity by not offering this in the Elevate.
They should seriously consider introducing this imported hybrid powertrain in the Elevate. Even at a ~15% premium over the Grand Vitara and Hyryder, it would still sell well.
While the focus on EVs is appreciated, sustained success will continue to come from a strong and consistent ICE lineup.

Smart ways I kept my trip budget-friendly (with a right blend of leave vs money):
1. Flights booked in October 2024 for travel in May 2025.
2. All local travel were in bus, tram & metros. No Taxis ever.
3. Purchased the right local transit pass for my stay in each city.
4. Never ate Indian food in whole trip.
5. Kept ratio of dine-in to grab n go at 20:80.
6. Never shied of walking. Invested in good shoes.
7. With limited leave and no WFH flexibility, I was selective with attractions I want to visit.
8. Travelled with check-in luggage. If it was a backpacker trip, cost could have been way below 1.50 Lakhs.
Budget travel isn’t a dream—it’s a strategy!

Solo traveled to Vietnam with zero plans, chose just one city — Da Nang — and it turned out to be the most peaceful, soulful vacation I’ve ever had. Vietnam is vast, but you don’t need to race across the country, if you are on time constraint, then opt for Da Nang. Here's why🧵
