This is my main gripe with VAR:
The objectivity in decision making is lost.
Refs can now shy away from giving decisions knowing that theyโre covered by VAR.
VAR then doesnโt give an objective verdict, only acts on โclear and obvious errorsโ.
Hard done by here I think.
Good luck to Steve Clarke and the Scotland national team as they begin their World Cup campaign for the first time in 28 years ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ณ๓ ฃ๓ ด๓ ฟ
A nation stands united behind the team.
All the best from everyone at Kilmarnock Football Club ๐
@AngusDuff123@we_are_killie All poor forward planning.
Should've gotten him on a longer contract.
When that didn't happen, should've got what we could, especially when he didn't play.
It's something the club needs to get better at.
@TheatreOfPies@Rangers_Spares_ I desperately hope I'm wrong, but we won't see Curtis in a Killie shirt again.
If he goes on loan again and Rangers are developing him properly, there will be progression. Potentially to the English Championship or a similar level.
@TheatreOfPies Nothing too surprising and I'm not too gutted to see most of the players who are leaving move on.
I've not given up hope of seeing Tish back, but suspect he'll be keeping his options open until after the World Cup.
@devro10591@SPFLWatch De Zerbi 2024 by mutual consent. We all know what that means.
McInnes done a fantastic job, but is not the man to take them to where they want to go.
He'll either move on amicable or they'll part company "by mutual consent" in the not too distant future.
@ArrC94 Yes, but Hearts allowed the clause in the contract in the first place.
I genuinely think they'll be happy for him to leave. Doesn't fit the model, so replace him with players who do.
The landscape is changing and Hearts are ahead of the curve.
@johnwalker_1986 I don't disagree John, but question why Hearts are allowing it to happen.
The landscape of transfers is changing. Shankland is going because Hearts want him to and will replace him better.
Doesn't bode well long term for Rangers even if he scores goals in the short term.
@Craig21192873@scotball_ This won't happen. Tony Bloom and Jamestown analytics are too sharp.
They'll be happy to lose Shankland and will replace him well.
Last season won't be a one off, they'll be challengers for a long time yet.
@arctic_jambo This will be 50/50. Shankland keen to go, but Hearts happy to let him. It's what Jamestown analytics do.
Doesn't fit your model anymore, so move him on and replace him with young players who do and you'll profit from.
Get used to it pal. It'll play out well in the long term.
@TheatreOfPies@AnalysingTSP@KaiGWatson This is exactly what Tony Bloom does, it's the nature of the beast. Hearts fans will get used to this.
Move on Shankland, best years behind him, potentially doesn't meet the data model.
Bring in young players who do, with the potential to profit from sell ons.
