Socialdemokraternas mångåriga kamp för ökad invandring från den muslimska världen har aldrig varit en slump. Tvärtom tycks det vara en långsiktig strategi.

Vallöftet från Magdalena Andersson att ge uppåt 100 000 invandrare medborgarskap, utifrån det gamla och kravlösa regelverket, ska ses i samma ljus.

Det handlar inte om solidaritet eller medmänsklighet – det handlar om makt. När svenska väljare flyr partiet behöver man röster från annat håll och då verkar massinvandring från den muslimska världen vara ett attraktivt sätt att runda svenska folkets vilja.

Sweden’s governing Moderate Party has pledged to pursue the creation of a common regional “air-defense dome” if it wins the September elections. According to Foreign Minister Maria Malmer Stenergard, participating air-defense systems would exchange data and jointly detect and track ballistic and cruise missiles, drones, and other aerial threats. The project would be implemented gradually, although Stockholm has not yet specified when the integrated shield could become fully operational. The initiative follows Sweden’s historic security transformation after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine: Stockholm abandoned military non-alignment, joined NATO, sharply increased defense spending, and is now seeking to strengthen the protection of the entire Nordic-Baltic region.

This is what happens when a self-respecting state looks at reality instead of pretending the threat does not exist. Russia’s war against Ukraine fundamentally changed Northern Europe’s security architecture, turning previously neutral Sweden and Finland into NATO members and accelerating regional rearmament. Moscow wanted a weaker NATO presence on its borders; instead, its aggression has produced a more heavily armed, increasingly integrated northern flank preparing specifically to deter Russia.

🇺🇦 Olha Yehorova, a weightlifter and a fitness trainer joined army on February 24, 2022.

She underwent training, became a riflewoman, and fought on some of the toughest sectors of the front—in the Serebryanskyi Forest, near Chasiv Yar, in the direction of Kupiansk, and in the Donetsk region.

In 2023, she was struck in the abdomen by shrapnel from a mortar shell. She underwent surgery, recovered, and returned to the front just four months later.
She was wounded again. Yet, she returned.

And in February 2025, despite her injuries, this remarkable woman climbed Mount Kilimanjaro—rising 5,895 meters above sea level—and planted the Ukrainian flag at its summit.

Varför valde Magdalena Andersson som 22-åring att studera tyska just i DDR? Hon hade utan problem kunnat läsa språket i Västtyskland, Österrike eller Schweiz – fria demokratier med akademisk frihet. Ändå reste hon sommaren 1989 till en av världens hårdaste diktaturer, bara månader innan regimen kollapsade och Berlinmuren föll.

Frågan är inte om en 22-årig språkstudent bar ansvar för DDR-diktaturens övergrepp. Det gjorde hon naturligtvis inte. Frågan är varför vistelsen i DDR i dag framställs som en demokratisk merit, samtidigt som Socialdemokraternas betydligt djupare och mer långvariga relation till kommunistregimen sällan granskas.

🇸🇪 Is Sweden gearing up for a war with Putin? Stockholm wants to create a unified air defense shield over the Nordic and Baltic countries

Sweden’s ruling Moderate Party has pledged to push for a joint air defense “umbrella” if it wins the September election.

The systems would share data and jointly track ballistic and cruise missiles, drones and other threats, Foreign Minister Maria Malmer Stenergard said.

The joint shield would be developed gradually. Stenergard did not specify when it could become fully operational.

The idea did not come out of nowhere: after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Sweden overhauled its security policy, joined NATO and began ramping up defense spending. Now, the country’s leaders want to strengthen the defenses of the entire region.

BREAKING: A major flash-flood disaster has hit Nepal’s Rasuwa district, near the border with Tibet/China, after an event early Wednesday morning caused catastrophic flooding along the Trishuli and Bhotekoshi river systems.

According to preliminary information presented by Nepal’s Foreign Minister, an earthquake struck the area at around 08:37 local time, apparently triggering an avalanche that then caused a sudden release of water and severe flash flooding.

Authorities are still verifying the exact chain of events, so this remains preliminary.

The flooding has caused major damage on both the Nepalese and Chinese sides of the border. On the Nepalese side, Rasuwa and Nuwakot appear to be among the worst affected areas.
At least 17 people have been confirmed dead in Nepal, while dozens remain missing.

Nepalese authorities say 26 police officers, nine Armed Police Force personnel and 44 military personnel are currently missing, alongside customs and immigration officials.

The damage to infrastructure is extensive. Authorities report that at least 19 bridges and around 40 kilometres of roads have been damaged, while multiple hydropower projects have also been affected. The Independent Power Producers’ Association of Nepal says 13 hydropower projects in Rasuwa and Nuwakot were damaged.
The important Rasuwagadhi border crossing with China has been closed, with reports that roads, bridges and customs infrastructure were swept away.

More than 200 cargo trucks are believed to have been caught in the flooding, while many workers remain unaccounted for.

There are also serious concerns about people trapped or missing at hydropower projects. Around 60 workers at the 20 MW Langtang Khola hydropower project in Syafrubesi have reportedly gone missing.

The disaster is also affecting tourists. Nepal’s Tourism Board says 291 foreign tourists and 93 Nepali nationals were reported unreachable following the flooding. Rasuwa is an important route for pilgrims traveling toward Kailash Mansarovar in Tibet, as well as trekkers visiting the Langtang region.

On the Chinese side, Chinese state media are reporting major casualties from a mudslide at a trade hub in Tibet, with President Xi Jinping ordering all-out search and rescue efforts and stronger monitoring to prevent secondary disasters.
Nepal says it is coordinating with China as rescue operations continue.

This is still a developing disaster. The number of casualties and missing people is expected to change as rescue teams reach areas that have been cut off, and the full extent of the damage is not yet known.
